Live2D Rigging Commission — Terms of Service
Last Updated: [15.08.2026]
By commissioning me for Live2D rigging services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms of Service.
If you have any questions regarding these terms or your commission, please contact me before placing an order.
1. General
-
I provide Live2D Cubism rigging services based on client-provided artwork.
-
The client is responsible for providing artwork that is properly prepared and suitable for rigging unless artwork preparation has been explicitly included in the commission. If i agreed about cutting and preparing the file then i can work on unprepared files.
-
I reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason.
-
These Terms of Service apply to all commissions unless a different agreement has been explicitly made in writing.
2. Client Requirements & Artwork
The client must provide all necessary files and references before rigging begins.
Unless otherwise agreed, the client is responsible for ensuring that:
-
The artwork is fully prepared for Live2D rigging.
-
Required parts are separated into appropriate layers.
-
Hidden areas that need to become visible during movement are properly drawn.
-
The artwork does not contain copyrighted material that the client does not have permission to use. Because I may use them to share my portfolio.
-
Any specific rigging requirements, references, or technical limitations are communicated before work begins.
If the provided artwork requires additional preparation, separation, redrawing, cleanup, or other modifications, these services may incur an additional fee.
I may refuse to rig artwork that is technically unsuitable until the necessary corrections have been made.
3. Scope of Work
The exact scope of each commission is determined by the package purchased and/or the agreed commission quote.
Depending on the package, rigging may include:

Payment terms will be agreed upon before work begins.
Unless otherwise stated:
-
Payment will be made after the work finishes, before the revisions.
-
Work will begin after agreement.
-
Payments are made through the payment method specified by me.
-
I can postpone payment for insuring agreement. So client can pay in a more secure payment method. Like Vgen, Paypal or other methods. I can not use Paypal so payment Vgen, Fiverr like third party solutions will work for us.
-
The client is not responsible for agreed transaction, currency conversion, or payment processing fees charged by their payment provider. Other transaction fees are clients responsibility.
For larger commissions, a payment split or milestone-based payment schedule may be offered at my discretion.
5. Work Queue & Delivery Time
Estimated delivery times are provided as an approximation rather than a guaranteed deadline.
Delivery time may vary depending on:
-
Commission complexity
-
Current queue
-
Number of revisions
-
Client response time
-
Artwork issues
-
Technical problems
-
Unexpected circumstances like my health condition
I will communicate significant delays when reasonably possible.
The client's response time does not count toward the estimated production time.
If the client becomes unresponsive for an extended period, the commission may be paused until communication resumes.
6. Revisions
The commission includes [X] revision rounds unless otherwise specified.
A revision means a reasonable adjustment to work that is within the originally agreed scope.
Examples of revisions include:
-
Adjusting movement
-
Correcting deformation
-
Tweaking physics
-
Adjusting expressions
-
Making minor parameter changes
A revision does not include completely redesigning or substantially changing the rig after approval.
Additional revision rounds or major changes may be charged at an hourly or fixed rate depending on the work required.
Clients are encouraged to provide clear and consolidated feedback rather than sending multiple separate revision requests.
7. Client-Requested Changes After Approval
Once the client has approved the rig or a major stage of the commission, further changes may be considered additional work.
If a requested change requires substantial re-rigging, rebuilding, or restructuring of the model, I reserve the right to charge an additional fee.
Changes caused by newly provided artwork, newly discovered requirements, or changes in the client's original specifications may also incur additional charges.
8. Preview & Approval
I may provide previews, test videos, screenshots, or temporary files during production.
The client is expected to review these previews and communicate any issues within a reasonable period.
Once the final rig has been approved and delivered, further modifications may be treated as additional work.
I may use watermarked or otherwise limited previews during the approval process.
9. Final Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the final delivery may include:
-
The finished Live2D model files required for the agreed use
-
Physics settings
-
Textures
-
Configuration files
-
Original Live2D files (only if i agreed to sent them)
-
Other files explicitly included in the purchased package
The exact files provided will depend on the commission package.
I am not obligated to provide internal working files, intermediate backups, experimental versions, or other materials that were not included in the agreed commission.
10. Source / Working Files
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the following are not automatically included in the commission:
-
PSD source artwork
-
Unedited original artwork
-
Internal rigging files
-
Backup files
-
Intermediate versions
-
Unused assets
-
Personal templates
-
Custom tools or scripts
-
Other proprietary working materials
If the client requires any additional source or working files, this must be discussed before or during commissioning and may require an additional fee.
11. Intellectual Property
The client retains ownership of artwork and intellectual property that they provided and have the legal right to use.
My rigging work does not transfer ownership of the client's original artwork to me.
Unless otherwise agreed, I retain the right to use my own rigging techniques, templates, parameter structures, physics setups, workflows, and general know-how for other commissions.
I may use finished clients work on my portfolio and advertisements of my services. If clients do not want to give that right it may reqiure %25 additional fee on total.
Nothing in this agreement grants the client ownership of my personal tools, templates, or proprietary workflow.
12. Commercial Use
Commercial use is permitted only according to the terms of the purchased commission.
Unless otherwise stated, commercial use of the finished rig may include:
-
Streaming
-
VTubing
-
YouTube/Twitch content
-
Social media content
-
Monetized videos
-
Selling model for adoption
-
Donations and memberships
-
Advertisements associated with the client's content
Commercial use of the artwork itself is governed by the original artist's licensing terms and is not transferred through the rigging commission.
Using model to train AI models is prohibited.
13. Redistribution & Resale
The client may not:
-
Resell my rigging work as a standalone service.
-
Claim my rigging work as their own.
-
Redistribute the rigging files to unrelated third parties.
-
Use my files to create or train commercial rigging templates or services.
-
Extract and reuse my proprietary rigging setup for another model without permission.
The finished model may be used by the client according to the agreed licensing terms.
If another rigger needs access to the files for maintenance or troubleshooting, permission may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
14. Third-Party Riggers
The client may request another Live2D rigger to modify or maintain the model after delivery.
However, I am not responsible for problems introduced by another rigger, editor,
software, plugin, or third-party modification.
15. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on how much work has already been completed.
Depending on situation i can refund between %30 to %100.
Before work begins
If work has not yet started, a cancellation may generally be accepted and a refund may be issued, subject to any applicable payment processing fees.
After work begins
Once production has started, refunds may be reduced according to the amount of work already completed.
Completed work may be deducted from the refundable amount.
After completion
Once the final commission has been delivered and approved, refunds will generally not be available.
If a refund is requested due to a genuine issue with the delivered work, I will first attempt to resolve the issue through revisions or corrections where appropriate.
16. Chargebacks
Unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes filed without first attempting to resolve the issue with me may be treated as a breach of these Terms.
I reserve the right to provide relevant commission records, messages, invoices, previews, and delivered files to the payment processor when responding to a dispute.
This does not restrict the client's right to use legitimate payment-provider dispute procedures.
17. Delayed or Abandoned Commissions
If the client becomes unresponsive for an extended period after I request necessary information, feedback, or approval, the commission may be placed on hold.
If the commission remains inactive for [30/60/90] days, I may consider the commission abandoned.
In such cases:
-
The commission may be closed.
-
Refund eligibility will depend on the amount of work already completed.
18. Client-Supplied Artwork Changes
If the client changes, replaces, or substantially modifies the artwork after rigging has begun, additional rigging work may be required.
Such changes are not considered ordinary revisions if they require significant restructuring of the model.
Additional work may therefore be charged separately.
19. Technical Limitations
Live2D Cubism and tracking software have technical limitations.
I will make reasonable efforts to achieve the agreed result, but I cannot guarantee perfect tracking or identical performance across every webcam, iPhone, tracking application, lighting condition, or computer configuration.

The original artist should be credited separately according to their own terms.
23. Confidentiality
Private materials and information supplied for the purpose of completing the commission will be treated as confidential unless:
-
The client has authorized public disclosure.
-
The information is already publicly available.
-
Disclosure is necessary to resolve a payment dispute or legal issue.
-
Disclosure is required by law.
If an NDA is required, it should be discussed before work begins.
24. AI & Automated Tools
I will not use client-provided private materials for AI training or submit them to third-party AI services without the client's permission.
Any use of automated or third-party tools during production will not transfer ownership of the client's artwork or confidential materials to those services.
I'll not use any AI tool or system to make my Live2D rigs, even tools in Live2D.
25. Communication
All important commission decisions, approvals, specifications, and changes should be made through the agreed communication channel.
Verbal or informal requests may not be considered part of the commission unless they are confirmed in writing.
